Summer & Beyond with Praiaz

The start of summer back in April saw the launch of Praiaz, a Rio de Janeiro and Paris baby, at the city oasis in Alphaland City Club.

Style Wise Manila got a taste of Praiaz lifestyle with a summer vibe complete with a swimming pool, a make-your-own beach bracelets station, a bar, and a live mural by artist Robby Singh. Even the lunch we had was summer-inspired.

Hosted by surfer and celebrity Kim Jones-Rosales, the guests were treated to fashion showcase of Praiaz footwear.

Have you walked by the beach alone on a morning sunrise while listening to the whirling breeze from the ocean? Or perhaps during a sunset holding hands with someone special while the waves are splashing on both of your feet? The same is the feeling when you have Praiaz's light and breezy soles on your feet.

I love its colors and designs and at the same time it's lightweight. Matching the summer appeal, it has a flexible line of mainly white Praiaz highlighted by colors of your choice on the sole. While for those who desire darker tones also have options.

While for the more adventurous, which I am, I love the sky blue bright color. Needless to say, it was the one I picked.

Lastly, I would like to note that Praiaz went beyond the visual appeal and even tapped the sense of smell. Praiaz shoes materials are made with scented materials that most say smell like the beach. Amazing isn't it? :)

Praiaz's co-founder, who flew all the way from Australia, and Terry S.A. Managing Director Anne Gonzales. were also present to welcome guests and media outfits. It was great to meet them having a vibrant personality reflective of the Praiaz philosophy of living the beach life!

We were also joined by guests models Katrina Rodri and LA Aguinaldo. We also met models Alex Godinez and Rammy Bitong.

Praiaz for the Rainy Days

Although summer is about to end in the Philippines, that doesn't mean I can't wear my Praiaz anymore. The material it is made with are the same as that of the soles of a running shoes with cushioned comfort. It is also water-proof in a sense that the material is not soaked, dirt is easy to rinse, and the shoes itself is buoyant and breathable.
