Kid Smart Nhikzy Vheench Calma wins SM Little Stars 2013

Kids now a days are so smart. I don't know if it's because of the milk formulas they drink growing up or the their parents are just so good training them up. A few weeks ago, the contestants of SM Little Stars 2013 led by Nhikzy Vheench Calma from SM Manila proved this and more.

Grand winners Nhikzy Vheench Calma (SM Manila) who danced with full street smart moves and Patricia Angel Platon Medalla (SM Marikina) who exemplified a powerful song number took home the two top spots of the kiddie contest with hundreds of thousands of pesos in cash prizes and items.

Now on its 7th year, SM Little Stars, together with SM Supermalls, continues to discover aspiring kids joining this mallwide kiddie talent competition as it find the brightest little kids for the title "Little Stars".

The finale of the nationwide kiddie talent competition SM LIttle Stars 2013 was held recently at SM Centerstage in SM Mall of Asia. The grand show started at about 3pm with opening numbers from chinky-eyed SM Little Star winners from China who showcased an equally compelling performances.

Moreover, the graceful Ms. Iza Calzado hosted the event as she encouraged the children with affirmative words. The panel of judges include Audie Gemora, Regine Tolentino, Jerome Pobocan, Sweet Plantado-Tiongson and Jem Padilla.

The finalists started by showcasing their taletns. Aside from the usual singing and dancing, there was one who recited a poem and even played a pop violin composition. Every set of 5 kids were then asked practical questions to know them better and give them the opportunity to reveal their wits and charm with words. Afterall, star personality is a big factor in the judging criteria.

Nikki Darl Calma, the father of grand winners Nihkzy was in all smiles and pride as his son takes the centerstage during the awarding ceremony. last year's SM LIttle Stars 2012 winners Christiane Andrew Galero and Aliah Franzin Navarro also took the stage to say their goodbye and well-wishes for the other 'little stars'.
