Good news to LEGO fans! The first LEGO Certified Store is now open in the Philippines and it's located at Bonifacio Global City (BGC)!
Having visited Legoland in Malaysia back in 2013, having our own official Lego Store in the Philippines is really an awesome news.

With a mission to "inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow," LEGO Store Philippines will surely be welcomed by enthusiasts, kids, and kids at heart! We're not sure, but we heard the shop is not technically owned by The LEGO Group nor LEGO Singapore but it is "operated by a third party under agreement." Perhaps, you can call it a franchise.

I visited the store after lunch and it was already full of people. If I would compare the prices from that of Legoland Malaysia, it's generally a bit more expensive.

Although the space is not that big, I believe they were able to maximize the area and every corner. The lego sets are also organized by category and type fro easy browsing and searching.

The Lego sets on display, and is of course for sale, includes the following:

• Simpsons
• Star Wars
• Minecraft
• Jurassic World

And from the Super Heroes section, the recently shown Avengers Age Of Ultron and Batman's Thumbler is present.

I heard there's also the an engraving machine which engraves your name into the brick for P100 per name brick but I missed that in the frenzy.

P50 Spiderman Glider

I got myself the Spiderman Glider for P50. You can buy a maximum of 5 of these per person per day (at least that's what the cashier lady allowed me to buy). This will be available until May 17 or until supplies last. LEGO will be selling 5,000 pieces of the these (30302 Spider-Man Glider V29)in support of rebuilding classrooms in Malabon.
