With a few days before the awaited big running event of Rogin-E's Last Man Standing 2, here are some 'Last Man Running'/ 'Last Woman Running' reminders:
- Registrants are required to submit proof that they have ran at least a marathon (or a longer distance run) in the last 6 months or a medical certificate noting that they are fit to join the LMR/LWR category.
- Participants must wear the Last Man Running 2 singlet (black)
- Participants must wear the 2 race bibs provided. One in the front, one in the back.
- Participants must check in at least 30 minutes before gun start. All late starters will automatically be disqualified from winning the prize.
- Gun start is at 2:00 am sharp.
- Participants must maintain the nominated pace per hour as guided by the Rogin- E pacers.
- Participants must get one color coded string every hour at the designated station.
- Participants will no longer be given a color coded string when they can no longer maintain the current nominated pace.
- Roving marshals will remove one race bib and security tag from the participants who have not maintained the nominated pace.
- Participants who have not maintained the nominated pace can continue running for the entire duration of the race but will no longer be qualified for the prize.
- Estimated at 9:00 am (7th hour), remaining qualified runners will reach the corner of 9th Avenue/ 32nd Street. A bell will signal that they have one more lap (7km) to run at their own pace.
- A motorized pacer will lead the remaining qualified runners followed by the motorized marshals.
- At the final lap, the first male and female to reach the finish line will be declared the Last Man Running and Last Woman Running respectively, provided that he/she has all six colored strings.
- Video cameras and gadgets will be on standby in case the race will be very close up to the finish line.
